SEND Teaching Assistant - North London (Primary & Secondary) We are recruiting a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils across primary and secondary schools in North London. This is a full time role, Monday to Friday, with an immediate start available.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND
- Support students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and learning difficulties
- Assist teachers in delivering inclusive and engaging lessons
- Promote positive behaviour, independence, and confidence
- Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development
- Assist with personal care where required
Qualifications & Experience
- Immediate availability
- Experience working with children or young people, ideally with SEND or other additional needs
- Patient, adaptable, proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Genuine passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs
- Must be a UK resident or hold a full UK visa and be willing to complete a DBS check
