The RoleThis is a hybrid position that keeps you involved in the practical side of teaching alongside some classroom work. You will:
- Train & Mentor: Deliver apprenticeships and competency-based qualifications to eager learners in both classroom sessions and hands-on workshop environments.
- Workplace Visits: Conduct regular on-site check-ins with apprentices at their places of employment to assess their competence and progress.
- Shape the Curriculum: Work alongside an expert Land-Based faculty to develop engaging training models using specialized digital and practical tools.
- Set Up for Success: Guide students smoothly through to their final End-Point Assessments (EPA).

What We Are Looking For:- Hands-on Expertise: Solid, demonstrable vocational experience within the Arboriculture, Forestry, or Woodland Management sectors.
- Core Certificates: NPTC/QCF Level 2 or 3 certifications in core tickets (such as Chainsaw Maintenance, Felling & Processing, or Aerial Tree Operations/Rope and Harness).
- Communication Skills: The ability to explain technical tasks clearly and motivate young people.
- Compliance Standards: A minimum of Grade C/4 in GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent), along with a willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
