Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting for a Physics Teacher at an independent secondary school in Islington. This full-time role starts in September on a fixed-term contract for one full academic year.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Physics lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and A Level.
- Prepare students for GCSE and A Level examinations.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing timely feedback.
- Contribute positively to the wider Science department.
- Inspire students through creative teaching and maintain high academic standards.
- Support pupils in achieving excellent outcomes and create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- A degree in Physics or a closely related subject.
- Excellent subject knowledge, strong classroom management skills, and the ability to motivate and challenge students of all abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, a collaborative approach to teaching, and a commitment to maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Experience as a teacher or strong subject expertise as an Early Career teacher is welcome.

Salary
Salary will be paid in line with the London MPS/UPS pay scale.
