As a Lecturer in Automotive at EKC Group, you'll inspire the next generation of technicians by bringing your industry knowledge to life in the classroom and workshop. You'll deliver engaging, hands-on learning experiences, helping students develop the skills, confidence and technical expertise needed to succeed in the automotive industry.

- Provide valuable industry insight to help students develop the skills and confidence needed for their future careers.
- Contribute to the design, delivery and evaluation of high-quality study programmes.
- Drive continuous improvement to ensure courses remain engaging, innovative and relevant to industry developments.
- Help shape a curriculum that meets the needs of both learners and employers.

About You
You’ll be a highly organised and creative educator, with the ability to plan and deliver engaging, innovative lessons that inspire learners. You’ll have strong interpersonal skills, a positive and empathetic approach, and the confidence to manage a classroom effectively. Tracking student progress and using this to plan targeted support and interventions will be a key part of your role.
Ideally, you’ll have experience teaching or delivering training in the workplace, although this isn’t essential as full training will be provided. You’ll be able to teach across Level 1 to Level 3 programmes and motivate learners to achieve and succeed in their studies.

Please note that there are two salary scale points for our Lecturer positions. All candidates will start at the introductory salary scale point unless certain criteria are met. Lecturers will normally move up to the highest salary scale once one full academic year of teaching for our group is complete. (Lecturers must be in post by 1st September in any given year to qualify and this is subject to approval). Therefore, internal applicants in the same role may qualify for the higher salary scale, although should seek clarification
