Are you passionate about supporting students to excel in their learning journey?
The Learning Mentor will provide support to students in lessons, identify strengths and difficulties, and implement personalised interventions, either 1:1 or in small groups. The role includes supervising students and helping teachers facilitate learning across a range of supported activities.
Responsibilities
- Undertake activities with individuals or small groups of students.
- Enable our students to access learning.
- Promote the development of students' physical and mental health.
- Carry out pre planned activities.
- Monitor the progress of identified students.
- Promote and help build students' self esteem.
Qualifications
Experience in a similar role would be beneficial, as would the ability to manage the behavioural difficulties and pastoral needs of individual and groups of students.
