Year 5 Teacher Job Description
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and creativity
- Conducting assessments, providing timely feedback, and tracking student progress
- Implementing effective behaviour management strategies
- Establishing strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to facilitate effective communication and collaboration
The Ideal Year 5 Teacher will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Hold a recent and clear Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
- Have experience teaching in KS2, ideally with Year 5
- Have a strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum
- Be able to inspire and motivate young learners
- Have excellent classroom management skills
- Be committed to inclusive education and supporting children of all abilities
