Salary: £41,935 - £56,154 (M3-M6)
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2026
Salary will be determined based on experience and position on the Main Pay Range. The maximum salary applies to candidates with substantial teaching experience.
Are you an experienced Key Stage 2 Teacher looking to join a welcoming and high performing primary school in North London? We are seeking a dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a friendly and inclusive school community in Barnet from September 2026.
This Key Stage 2 Teacher role offers the opportunity to work with enthusiastic learners in a supportive environment where pupil achievement, wellbeing and staff development are at the heart of everything the school does. The successful Key Stage 2 Teacher will take full responsibility for a KS2 class and play an important role in the continued success of the school.
The Role
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative and challenging lessons across the KS2 curriculum.
- Assess, monitor and support pupil progress to ensure strong outcomes.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND and EAL.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities and collaborative planning.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, learning and achievement.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
- Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment framework.
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
- Ability to inspire, motivate and challenge pupils of all abilities.
- Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
