Inspire Education Group is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Motor Vehicle Lecturer to join the team at Stamford College.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced automotive professional or qualified lecturer to help develop the next generation of technicians and engineers through engaging, industry-focused teaching and learning.
The Role
You will deliver high-quality teaching across a range of Motor Vehicle programmes from Level 1 through to Level 4/HND, supporting students to develop both practical workshop skills and underpinning technical knowledge.
Key responsibilities of a Motor Vehicle Lecturer
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet learner needs and industry expectations
- Assessing student progress and providing clear, supportive feedback
- Monitoring achievement and implementing strategies to support learner success
- Developing learning resources, schemes of work and course materials
- Supporting tutorial delivery and student progress reviews
- Participating in course leadership, quality assurance and internal verification activities
- Promoting safe working practices within workshop and classroom environments
- Building positive relationships with employers to support industry placements and opportunities
- Contributing to student recruitment events, open days and course promotion activities
We are looking for someone who is passionate about automotive education and can motivate learners to achieve their full potential.
Do you have the following skills or experience?
- A Level 3 or higher qualification in Motor Vehicle or a related discipline
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DET or equivalent) or be willing to work towards gaining this qualification
- Recent industry experience within the automotive sector
- Strong communication, organisational and IT skills
- The ability to inspire learners through innovative and engaging teaching
