We are currently looking to recruit an inspiring and enthusiastic Teacher of Computing & Gaming to join our thriving college for the new academic year.
Salary: M1 - UPS 3 Inner London Pay Award up to £62,496 FTE
Contract: Part Time 0.6 Fraction, Permanent
Hours: Hours based on STPCD
Role Overview
The successful candidate will inspire and support students aged 16-19, delivering high quality lessons in Computing & Gaming and preparing learners for further study or careers in the field. You will be passionate about your subject, committed to excellent teaching, and able to foster a dynamic and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality lessons in Computing & Gaming for students aged 16-19.
- Prepare learners for further study or careers in the field.
- Foster a dynamic and engaging learning environment.
- Maintain excellent communication with students, college staff, parents and carers.
- Contribute to a forward thinking department dedicated to student success.
Qualifications
- Teaching qualification (QTS or QTLS) or working towards gaining this.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Commitment and dedication to team working.
- Passion for the subject and commitment to excellent teaching.
- Willingness to keep up to date with current pedagogy and practice.
