Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that meet the needs of all pupils and promote excellent progress.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and purposeful classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.
- Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, using data effectively to inform teaching and close gaps in attainment.
- Adapt teaching to meet the diverse needs of learners, including those with SEND and pupils requiring additional support.
- Establish strong routines and behaviour expectations in line with the academy's policies.
Pay range
- M1 - M6 - £32,916.00 - £45,352.00
- 32.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
- Full Time, Permanent
Qualifications and Skills
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Proven ability to deliver high quality teaching that leads to strong pupil progress
- Secure knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies
- Ability to adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners including those with SEND and EAL
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment
