What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver engaging English lessons that inspire a love of reading, writing and communication.
- Support pupils with Autism and additional needs to achieve their full potential.
- Plan, assess and monitor progress to ensure outstanding outcomes.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists and families.
- Use innovative and autism specific teaching strategies to maximise engagement.
- Set ambitious targets and support pupils to achieve meaningful progress.
- Create a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
- Contribute to curriculum development and whole school improvement initiatives.
About You
- Qualified with a Degree and UK QTS.
- Passionate about English and inclusive education.
- Experience working with young people with Autism, SEN and complex needs.
- Creative, adaptable and able to inspire learners of all abilities.
- Confident communicator who builds strong relationships.
- Calm, resilient and positive when faced with challenges.
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing.
- Dedicated to continuous professional development and excellence in teaching.
- Full UK Driving Licence (Desirable).
