The Role We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and experienced team. You will work closely with teachers and therapists to support pupils in their learning, helping them to thrive both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities - Support pupils with autism in a classroom and small-group setting
- Assist in delivering tailored learning activities based on individual needs
- Promote independence, confidence, and emotional wellbeing
- Support the development of communication, social, and life skills
- Help create a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff, therapists, and families

- Patience, empathy, and a calm, positive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience working with children (desirable but not essential)
- A willingness to learn and engage in ongoing training
