Description
Early Years Educator role within a playroom setting, focusing on the N Curriculum, supporting daily routines, developing activity plans, observing, maintaining a safe environment, and embedding policies. The position is Monday to Friday, 20 hours per week, 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Responsibilities
- Inspire learning through the play based N Curriculum.
- Support smooth daily routines - from mealtimes to naptimes.
- Create and implement development focused activity plans.
- Carry out observations, assessments, and planning for key children.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with children and families.
- Ensure classroom is safe, clean, and engaging.
- Embed all policies and procedures into daily practice.
- Be a positive role model - collaborate, motivate, and share ideas.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in an early years environment.
- Level 2 or above Early Years qualification (full & relevant).
- Paediatric First Aid (12 hours) and willingness to train.
- Up to date safeguarding knowledge (or willingness to refresh).
- Genuine passion for education and changing the lives of children.
- Team player with a can do attitude and positive mindset.
- Confident communicator with a love for customer service.
