What the Role Involves
- Inspiring Confidence: Teaching high energy, engaging German lessons to pupils in Years 7 to 11.
- GCSE Preparation: Preparing Year 11 classes for their examinations using targeted support and innovative, confidence building techniques.
- Cultural Immersion: Creating an inclusive classroom environment where students feel enthusiastic and safe speaking a new language.
- Collaboration: Working alongside the MFL team on fresh ideas, cultural events, and curriculum planning - no reinventing the wheel alone.
The Ideal Candidate
- The Specialist: Holds a degree in German (or equivalent) with near native fluency.
- The Professional: Possesses UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- The Expert: Has a proven track record of delivering the UK German curriculum effectively up to KS4.
- The Logistics: Must already hold the permanent right to work in the UK. (Visa sponsorship is not available for this position).
