We are seeking two experienced Heads of Department (SEN Teachers) for Pathway One and Two and for the Sixth Form at Birtenshaw School, Merseyside. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
Responsibilities
- Act as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
- Lead the development of the school's curriculum in a forward thinking manner.
- Manage teaching staff and ensure that all teaching standards are met.
- Play an active role in the overall development of the school.
- Ensure all legislation and Ofsted requirements are followed and met.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
- Experience in SEN or special education preferred.
