About the Role
- Deliver high quality English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Plan, prepare and assess engaging lessons that support student progress.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes achievement.
- Monitor and track pupil performance, providing feedback and support where needed.
- Work collaboratively with the wider teaching team and school leadership.
- Uphold safeguarding procedures and contribute to the overall wellbeing of students.
Person Specification
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching English within a secondary school setting.
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet a range of learning needs.
- A professional, proactive, and adaptable approach.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
