The OpportunityAn excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lead Quality Assurer to join a forward-thinking organisation based in Northwich. This role is ideal for a motivated quality professional who is passionate about maintaining high standards, driving continuous improvement, and supporting assessor performance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) activities across programmes
- Monitor and support assessor performance to ensure compliance with awarding body standards
- Carry out sampling, observations, and standardisation activities
- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality of assessment decisions
- Support and coach assessors to improve delivery and learner outcomes
- Prepare for and support External Quality Assurance (EQA) visits
- Contribute to quality improvement plans and audit processes
Requirements- Level 4 Award in Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) (essential)
- Proven experience in a quality assurance or assessing role
- Strong understanding of apprenticeship frameworks and standards (desirable)
- Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines
- Full UK driving licence (due to travel requirements)
