About the Role - Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant
As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEMH and SEN needs
- Support emotional regulation, behaviour, and engagement
- Use de escalation and restorative approaches
- Build strong, consistent relationships with pupils
- Support delivery of tailored learning alongside the class teacher
- Monitor progress and contribute to support strategies
You'll be working with pupils who may be disengaged from education, so your ability to build trust and remain calm is key.
