📢 We’re hiring: Part-Time Visiting Lecturer (BSL)
The University of Westminster is looking for a Part-Time Visiting Lecturer to design and deliver a year-long Grade 1 British Sign Language (BSL) module as part of our Polylang programme.
You’ll be supported with dedicated hours to design the course and will then lead its delivery from September 2026, with teaching taking place on-site at our Fitzrovia Campus. There is potential to teach multiple weekly groups (3-hour workshops) depending on student demand, with some flexibility in scheduling.
📅 Teaching period: September 2026 – April 2027
📍 Location: 309 Regent Street, London
We’re looking for candidates with:
✅ Native or near-native BSL (Level 6 or equivalent)
✅ Experience teaching BSL in higher education
✅ A strong commitment to inclusive teaching and Deaf culture
