The college is seeking a passionate and supportive Foundation Learning Lecturer with experience in Animal Care to join their dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Foundation Learning and Animal Care sessions to students with additional learning needs
- Develop learning support programmes and teaching materials tailored to individual student requirements
- Assess learners' initial support needs and monitor ongoing progress
- Supervise and support a team of Learning Support Assistants
- Arrange and coordinate appropriate exam access arrangements and additional support
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that motivates learners and supports achievement
What do you need?
- A minimum of Grade C / 4 in GCSE Maths and English Language (or equivalent)
- Experience working in a similar Foundation Learning or SEND focused role
- Experience supporting learners with additional needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with post 16 learners
- Evidence of successful classroom practice that motivates and engages students
