The Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:
- Support the physical, emotional, social and intellectual development of children aged 2 -4 years.
- Plan and deliver stimulating, inclusive activities that spark curiosity.
- Act as a keyworker, assessing and recording progress using Tapestry and other systems.
- Build positive relationships with parents and carers.
- Help maintain a safe, well-presented learning environment.
- Work closely with colleagues to prepare activities, support routines and contribute to a warm, positive team culture.
About You
You will thrive with us if you are:
- Qualified at Level 2 or above in childcare (Level 3 DfE approved qualification desirable).
- Knowledgeable about the EYFS, safeguarding and Health & Safety.
- Experienced in working with preschool-aged children.

Additional Information
Our Nursery operates 8.00am-6.00pm, Monday to Friday, 51 weeks a year. Practitioners work either an 8-hour or 9-hour shift (with a 1 hour lunch break), typically 8am-4/5pm or 9/10am-6pm. Occasional rota cover between 7.30am and 6.30pm may be required.
