Bolton College is looking to appoint ambitious, talented, and enthusiastic Lecturer A in Maths to join our flourishing team. You will provide high quality and inclusive teaching and learning on GCSE/Functional Skills and non-accredited Community Learning courses. Applications from NQTs are welcome.
Ideally, you will:
- Relevant degree or equivalent.
- Teaching qualification (Cert Ed/PGCE).
- Level 2 qualification in English and Maths.
- Proven track record in the teaching of Maths GCSE to 16-18-year-olds.
- Experience of embedding Maths into vocational or academic programmes of study.
- Experience of developing and designing interactive learning materials and innovative resources to meet personalised learning requirements.
Day-to-day you will be responsible for:
- To deliver high quality and inclusive teaching and learning on one or more courses.
- To support the curriculum management on curriculum and course development.
- To take part and comply with all quality assurance procedures and systems within the area of responsibility.
- Develop resources, support teaching programmes and deliver on a number of courses as required.
- To support the achievement of annual targets for learner numbers, income, expenditure and success rates.
