Adjunct Lecturer Responsibilities
Adjunct lecturers are expected to develop and disseminate an individual syllabus addendum that aligns with the departmental syllabus for the course(s) they are teaching. Adjunct lecturers are expected to prepare assignments and lectures, meet their class(es) regularly, grade student assignments in a timely fashion, hold regular office hours to meet with students, submit Starfish reports, calculate and submit midterm grades in WebSIS and provide a copy to the department, and calculate and submit final grades in WebSIS and provide a copy to the department.
Qualifications
A Master's degree in English or a related field with at least one year of teaching at the collegiate level is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D. or terminal degree in English or a related field is preferred.
- At least three years teaching at the collegiate level is preferred.
