SEN Learning Support Assistant - Alternative Provision North London £100-£115 per day Immediate starts
Alternative provision isn't for everyone. If it's for you, you'll know.
We're placing experienced LSAs and TAs into APs and PRUs across North London. These are settings where your calm under pressure, your ability to build trust with young people who don't trust adults easily and your genuine commitment to the hardest-to-reach students matters more than any qualification.
What the role looks like:
- Small groups or 1:1 with students who've been excluded or are at risk of exclusion
- High SEMH and complex trauma presentations - often multiple needs
- Fast-paced, varied days - no two the same
- Working closely with pastoral leads and multi agency professionals
What you need:
- Some experience in AP, PRU, SEMH or youth work settings (paid or voluntary)
- Resilience, boundaries and a non judgemental approach
- Willingness to build relationships slowly and stick with it
What you'll get:
- Above-average daily rates - AP experience commands it
- A consultant who will fight your corner with the setting
- Honest, realistic job briefs
