About the role
This fixed-term post is to provide replacement teaching for ProfessorPolly Jones duringher Leverhulme Project Grant.
The post will involve advanced teaching and independent academic research inRussian.
The successful candidate will contribute to the teaching ofRussianwithin the Sub-Faculty ofSlavonicby offering6hours of lectures or seminarson modern literature,they will alsobe responsible forprovidingfour'weighted' hours a week of undergraduate tuition inRussianlanguage and literature atUniversityCollege.

About you
You will hold (or be near completion) of a Doctorate level degree in modern Russian literature andculture, andcurrently possess a good undergraduate degree, normally inRussian; aswell as theability to produce high quality research within the field of Russian and Russophone literature and culture studies.
Evidence of the ability to teach undergraduate and graduate students across a range of topics in modern Russian literature and culture at the highest level in the medium of English, whether through lectures, seminars, or tutorials.

Salary
£39,424 - £47,779 per annum (to be pro-rata'd)
