Main Responsibilities
- Deliver a broad, balanced, and inspiring English curriculum aligned with the school's vision and values.
- Provide leadership and direction within the English subject area, supporting its ongoing growth and success.
- Motivate and challenge students to achieve their full potential within a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Share best practice and contribute to the professional development of colleagues, strengthening teaching and learning across the school.
- Monitor and support students' academic progress and personal development within the subject area.
- Play an active role within the curriculum team, promoting collaboration, innovation, and high standards.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential.
- Excellent subject knowledge and a genuine passion for English.
- The ability to inspire, engage, and motivate learners of all abilities.
- A commitment to raising achievement and creating meaningful learning experiences.
- Experience in subject leadership or curriculum development is desirable, but not essential.
