Learning & Development Business Partner

We are looking for a dynamic and innovative Learning & Development Business Partner to join our global team in a brand-new role with significant scope to shape and influence learning strategy across the business. We are a global organisation dedicated to developing a consistent approach to our ways of working across all divisions and you would be a significant contributor to delivering this successfully.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced L&D professional who enjoys both strategic programme development and hands-on delivery. You will partner with leaders, subject matter experts, and HR teams globally to design and deliver learning initiatives that build capability, strengthen leadership, and support a high-performing culture.
What You’ll Be Doing
Create engaging learning materials, toolkits, and development programmes across face-to-face, e-learning, and blended learning formats. Partner with functional experts to develop toolkits that drive operational and functional excellence. Support leadership and capability-building initiatives, including the development of leadership frameworks. Bring fresh thinking and innovative approaches to learning and people development. Identify learning needs through stakeholder consultation, surveys, and performance analysis. Facilitate impactful workshops, training sessions, and train-the-trainer programmes globally. Evaluate learning effectiveness, ROI, and business impact to continuously improve programmes. Champion digital learning solutions and modern curriculum design. Work closely with functional leaders to embed Individual Development Plans (IDPs) across the organisation. Promote best practice in career development and learning governance. Manage apprenticeship levy opportunities within the UK to support employee growth and development. Ensure all learning activities meet legal, regulatory, and organisational standards. Stay ahead of L&D trends, innovations, and best practice to continually evolve learning solutions. Promote a culture where learning, development, and continuous improvement are embedded into everyday working life. To succeed in this dynamic new role, you will bring a clear passion for developing organisational capability and the people within that organisation. You must have experience in design and delivery, as well as training needs analysis and experience in identifying and bringing in training capacity where needed.
Your stakeholders are largely based in Peterborough but will lead functions globally so you must be at home in complex matrix organisation and demonstrate the ability to influence and impact at all levels including C suite, even when they are not in the same country.
You will be comfortable adopting digital learning solution and new technologies to deliver a modern approach designed to enhance stakeholder engagement.
