** Background
The City Apprenticeships Hub is a central service to lead, support and develop apprenticeships provision and apprentices across the university. Key to the success and growth of apprenticeships is a clear structure and process from enrolment to completion. To strengthen the current provision and grow it further, a Quality Assurance Manager with strong quality assurance skills and sound apprenticeship experience is essential, to assist the Head of Apprenticeships and meet/exceed DfE and Ofsted regulations and requirements. Line management responsibility of all Assessors across the university apprenticeship programs.
** Responsibilities
Responsible for the operation and evolution of the apprenticeship programmes quality assurance framework, including End-point Assessment process and compliance checks. Supporting the Head of Apprenticeships and QA Manager - Apprenticeships with Quality Achievement Rates forecasting/ reporting and internal verifications of assessor duties. To standardise practice across programs and maintain and improve the OFSTED grading to aid achievement.
** Person Specification
Educated to A level standard or equivalent. Extensive knowledge of apprenticeships, apprenticeships systems and reporting of. Knowledge of the OFSTED inspection framework Experience of the end-to-end process for EPA Experience Knowledge and experience of compliance, quality, verification, auditing and reporting Confident and professional, with excellent working knowledge of apprenticeship reporting, audit requirements and supporting senior management Experience of working within a complex/multi-tiered work-based training provider Experience of working in the area of apprenticeships. Experience of working with apprenticeship systems such as the Apprenticeship Service.
