The role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative ODP or Nurse to join our department with responsibility for delivering teaching, learning and assessment across the programme and working with stakeholders across the region to support this new programme. Experience of all areas of perioperative practice is essential for this role, including supporting and assessing pre registration learners in perioperative practice.
The ability to supervise dissertations at MSc level is also expected. The successful candidate will be expected either to be research active in their subject specialism or to have an interest in becoming research active as part of their development.
Required skills and experience
You must be registered with HCPC as an ODP or registered with the NMC as a Nurse with up to date professional registration. Candidates from a nursing background will need to have specific experience of working in perioperative practice and further evidence of CPD and relevant training evidence in perioperative practice.
You must be qualified to a minimum of level 6 and either hold an MSc or be prepared to undertake one.
