The Apprenticeships Unit are responsible for supporting the development, recruitment and delivery of degree apprenticeships. We currently work with over 700 employers and 3000 apprentices. The Apprenticeships Unit is an exciting and dynamic team working across the University and with apprenticeship employers to deliver high quality and industry relevant undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications. We are now seeking to recruit an Apprenticeships Projects Administrator to support our work in maintaining and growing apprenticeships both in terms of the range of programmes offered and the number of apprentices enrolled. This role will provide critical administrative and project support for the delivery of apprenticeships programmes, including first line support to MMU staff, apprentices, applicants and employers. This support is critical to the ongoing successful recruitment, delivery, completion and achievement of our apprenticeship programmes.
Typically, you will:
- Provide specialist administrative support to ensure the successful delivery of the University's apprenticeship programmes
- Provide administrative support within the team and advice and guidance to internal and external stakeholders in relation to apprenticeships
- Make effective use of a wide range of IT systems (such as CRM and other key campus administrative systems) to capture and maintain accurate records and data
- Maintain administrative systems to facilitate shared information across the team and provide effective delivery, including financial administration and quality monitoring.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A high standard of communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills
- Ability to use initiative and prioritise own work to achieve agreed objectives
- Experience of committee servicing and report-writing
- Proven ability in the advanced use of Microsoft Excel and the management of data across a wide range of software
