The Role
As an Unqualified Supply Teacher, you'll step in when a teacher is absent. You're not expected to teach new content; your role is to lead, guide and manage the classroom. You may be asked to cover a range of subjects depending on the school's needs - this is a classroom management role, not a subject teaching role, so specialist subject knowledge is not required.
- Deliver pre-set work left by the teacher
- Explain tasks clearly and keep students engaged
- Manage behaviour and maintain a positive classroom environment
- Build professional relationships with pupils
- Adapt to different schools, subjects and classroom settings
£95-£115 per day. North Somerset & Bristol. Placements close to where you live. Driving not required (but increases opportunities).

The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for students who bring energy, reliability and a positive presence:
- Current students or recent graduates (any subject)
- Confident communicators who can lead a classroom
- Calm, adaptable and resilient
- Interested in working with young people
- Experience in tutoring, mentoring, coaching, hospitality or similar is a bonus
- Must have the right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
