Key Responsibilities
- EYFS Delivery: Plan and implement creative, age-appropriate activities that support the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Key Person Role: Act as a dedicated Key Person for a group of children, maintaining accurate observations and tracking their developmental progress.
- Safety & Wellbeing: Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment, ensuring all safeguarding and health and safety policies are strictly followed.
- Parent Partnership: Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with parents and carers through regular feedback and handovers.
Requirements
- Qualification: A full and relevant Level 3 Childcare Qualification (e.g., NVQ, CACHE, or equivalent) is essential.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a professional nursery or pre-school setting.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of Ofsted requirements and the EYFS curriculum.
- Teamwork: Excellent communication skills and a "can-do" attitude toward supporting your colleagues.
