Job Title - Senior Lecturer, Multimedia and Broadcast Journalism, We are looking for a Senior Lecturer to join the small, specialist team in Multimedia and Broadcast Journalism. This is a crucial role to support the development of the Multimedia and Broadcast Journalism course. The post is offered on a 0.6 (three days a week) basis. Working closely with the course leader, the role will involve:
# Teaching on campus
# Supervising final projects other practical course work
# Marking and assessing student work
# Mentoring students
The Candidate
You will have industry experience in a journalistic role, with a working knowledge of newsrooms and editorial processes. You may be a practitioner looking to expand their teaching experience or perhaps balance a 3 day a week commitment to teaching with freelance work.

You have:
# Experience of and enthusiasm for multimedia journalism
# An interest in journalistic technology such as Mossart, Open Media or similar
# First hand experience of journalistic storytelling
# A working knowledge of journalistic law and regulation
# A strong interest in teaching, and experience of either teaching or delivering industry training
# An ability to work as part of a small teaching team and, where needed, to work independently
# Responsiveness to student needs from a range of backgrounds
