Salary: £27,785 - £43,325 per annum, plus £610 Crawley Weighting Allowance.

Job Summary
Lecturer in English (GCSE) delivering high-quality teaching to 16-18 year olds in a full-time FE setting.
Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess GCSE English lessons that meet curriculum and awarding body requirements.
- Create engaging, inclusive learning experiences, track and report learner progress.
- Contribute to curriculum planning and quality assurance activities.
- Collaborate within the English team to support learner attendance, retention and achievement.
- Ensure compliance with funding and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong subject knowledge in English.
- Experience of teaching GCSE within an FE or secondary setting (or ability to adapt quickly to FE delivery).
- Hold or be willing to obtain a recognised teaching qualification.
