Maths SEND Teacher
We are partnering with an independent and inclusive school that is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Maths SEND Teacher to join their team. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons tailored to pupils with SEND.
- Adapt teaching methods, resources and lesson content to meet individual learning needs, including EHCPs and IEPs.
- Support pupils in developing confidence and independence in Maths.
- Create a structured, positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, families and external professionals to support pupil progress.
- Monitor and assess student achievement, adapting strategies where necessary.
- Support pupils' social, emotional and behavioural development alongside academic progress.
Qualifications
- Previous experience teaching Maths within a SEND or inclusive setting.
- Strong understanding of differentiated learning and inclusive teaching practices.
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- A patient, empathetic and adaptable approach.
- QTS is preferred; however, unqualified candidates with substantial teaching experience will also be considered.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.

Pay Rate
Pay rate is dependent on qualifications, experience and skills.
