At Springwood Primary School we are constantly striving to create the best learning opportunities for every pupil. We aim to provide a specialist, high quality, relevant and balanced education for pupils with SEND aged 5 - 11. We are seeking to appoint a Level 1 Teaching Assistant for our Craig Hall (Irlam) Site working 20 hours per week between the hours of 10am-2pm each day. Springwood is a large primary age Special School (360 pupils aged 5 11) based over a number of sites within Salford, which caters for pupils with moderate, severe and complex needs.

Essential Criteria
- Are you interested in supporting primary age children with complex needs to achieve their potential?
- Will you ensure that all our pupils are included and supported to develop whatever their special educational needs or behaviour challenges?
- Can you work as part of a team to provide an appropriate learning environment for our pupils?
- Do you want to learn new skills and participate in your own professional development?
- Previous experience of working with young people of school age who may present with challenging behaviour and complex needs, preferably within an educational setting.
