Reeson Education is supporting a secondary school in Sutton that requires a Science Teacher on a full time basis from September 2026.
The Principal is looking to invite an enthusiastic Science Teacher with vision and expertise to join the school's dynamic Science department from September 2026.

Role
The Science Teacher will be responsible for providing a friendly, stimulating, and inclusive environment in which every student can develop academically, socially and personally.
The successful candidate will be responsible for academic progress and must:
- Ensure that students are taught in line with the most up to date examination specification.
- Adhere to the department's mental schemes of work.
- Keep records of students' attendance in lessons via SIMS.
- Follow the guidelines for high quality teaching as defined in the Staff Handbook.
- Set, mark, and assess work as stated in the Staff Handbook.
- Use resources, check student files, provide learning support, use ICT, and follow health and safety procedures.
- Manage the classroom as defined in the school's classroom management and behaviour policy.
- Attend in service training, classroom observation, and feedback sessions as requested by the Head of Department.
Person Specification
The successful candidate will:
- Inspire pupils to have a passion for the subject and ensure Science is a vibrant part of the school community.
- Have experience teaching Science to KS3/4.
- Be an excellent classroom practitioner offering high quality teaching and learning.
- Be able to create and lead subject development and be experienced in supporting other staff to enhance teaching and learning.
