C Grade Teaching Assistant
The Hive, a provision opened by Hill Park School on a newly refurbished site in Lynchets Close, Hollingdean, in September 2023, serves autistic students between Y7 and Y11 who have high anxiety preventing them from accessing mainstream secondary schools.
We provide an age related curriculum allowing students to progress to GCSEs and other secondary accreditations.

About the Role
- Provide support to KS3/4 tutor groups and small groups in accessing and progressing within the GCSE curriculum.
- Show patience, a calm manner, resilience, and commitment to meeting the needs of children with additional needs.
- Be an excellent team player who can recognise and respond to pupils' needs.
- Have Maths and English qualifications at GCSE or equivalent.
- Be able to manage a challenging environment, physically and mentally, and adapt skills to be flexible and resilient.
