Complex Needs Teaching Assistant - Haringey - Long Term
A specialist SEN setting in Haringey is looking for a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to support pupils with complex additional needs. This is a hands on SEN role for someone confident supporting pupils with more complex needs. The role requires caring, resilience, and confidence working with pupils who may need communication support, sensory support, personal care, or structured routines.
What the role involves:
- Supporting pupils with complex needs, ASD, PMLD or EHCP linked needs
- Helping pupils access learning and daily routines
- Working closely with SEN teachers, therapists, and support staff
- Providing consistent, patient and reliable support
What we are looking for:
- SEN, care, support work, school or youth work experience
- Someone comfortable with practical support
- Patience, resilience, and strong communication skills
- A person who can stay calm and consistent throughout the day
Pay: £95 - £120 per day
