Francis Holland Regent's Park is an independent day school for girls aged in London.
THE ROLE
We are seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant with a focus on Performance Arts to start in September 2026. The role provides broad support across teaching, co curricular and administrative activities in the Drama and Music departments. The role is term time plus two weeks during school holidays, working 8 am-4:30 pm with a one hour unpaid lunch break. Salary is £31.2k full time equivalent (pro rated to £26k). The position is line managed by the Senior Deputy Head.
JOB SPECIFICATION
- Support teaching and learning within the Music and Drama departments, including organising co curricular activities such as rehearsals, performances, concerts and productions.
- Meet weekly with the line manager (or delegate) to discuss tasks.
- Cover lessons when teachers or support staff are absent.
- Supervise pupils at break time and lunchtimes according to the duty rota.
- Invigilate internal and public examinations as required during the school year.
- Accompany school trips, which may include weekends and school holidays.
- Serve as a positive role model for pupils, demonstrating professionalism, enthusiasm and care.
- Carry out administrative tasks such as labelling envelopes for bulk mailing, sorting and repairing textbooks, assisting with admissions events, photocopying, setting up displays, counting cash for charity events, supporting second hand uniform sales and managing attendance registers.
- Perform any other reasonable request from the Head related to this position.
