Learning Support Assistant (English Specialist) - Secondary School
Location: Islington, North London.
Start Date: September 2026 (Trial June). Contract: Full time.
Responsibilities
- Support students with additional learning needs during lessons.
- Deliver small group English and literacy interventions.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and the SENCO.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback.
- Help create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a similar LSA/SEND role within a secondary school.
- Strong English literacy skills.
- Experience supporting students with SEND.
- Confident delivering small group interventions.
- Patient, proactive, and adaptable approach.
