Head of School - School of Agriculture Policy and Development
The University of Reading is seeking to appoint a Head of School for the School of Agriculture Policy and Development. The role is for an established Professor or Associate Professor with proven academic leadership abilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide academic leadership for the School, setting its vision and strategic direction
- Represent the School externally, engaging with key stakeholders
- Ensure long term financial sustainability of the School
- Play a significant role in contributing to leadership at the wider University level
- Support and shape the Agri Food Futures Strategy and integration of research initiatives within the School
Qualifications
- Established Professor or Associate Professor
- Proven academic leadership experience
- Strong record of research, teaching and management within a university setting
- Ability to contribute to broader university strategy and governance
