Learning Support Assistant - Primary School
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Primary School based in the outskirts of Pontypridd, who are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant. A setting that encourages personal growth through learning within the wider community and at home, the Learning Support Assistant will aid children in developing their personal skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist children in developing confidence, ambition and personal skills.
- Support the Year 2 group in learning and problem solving activities.
- Help deliver the curriculum and provide tailored support to individual children.
- Work under guidance of the senior leadership team to develop practice and support children's learning.
Qualifications
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (Level 2 welcomed).
- Education support experience in the UK.
- Creativity and adaptability to all classroom situations.
