Vision for Education is working with a Good-rated SEND school in Durham to recruit a SEN Teacher. This full-time role is available immediately and offers the opportunity to work in a supportive and inclusive setting where strong relationships and early intervention are at the heart of practice.
As a SEN Teacher, you will lead a small Early Years class of pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism, communication and interaction needs, and developmental delays. You will create a safe, engaging, and structured learning environment that supports communication, emotional development, and early learning skills through play-based and sensory approaches.
You will work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and families to deliver personalised learning, support EHCP outcomes, and ensure each child makes meaningful progress.

What We Look For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching within EYFS, ideally within a SEND or inclusive setting
- A nurturing, patient, and creative approach to teaching and learning
- A strong understanding of early childhood development and SEND needs
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, families, and staff
- A commitment to ongoing professional development
