The Education Specialists are currently working closely with a number of primary schools across Widnes who require enthusiastic and reliable KS2 Teachers for flexible supply work. This includes a mix of day to day cover, short term roles, and longer term placements.
As a supply teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, maintaining a structured classroom environment, and ensuring pupils remain on track with their learning. You will need to adapt quickly to new settings while providing consistency and support for pupils.
You will be expected to demonstrate strong teaching practice, adhere to safeguarding procedures, and contribute positively to each school you work in.
This role is well suited to teachers who value flexibility, enjoy varied teaching experiences, and are looking to build connections with local schools.
Key Responsibilities of a KS2 Teacher:
- Plan or deliver structured lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum.
- Create a focused and engaging learning environment.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
- Monitor and support pupil progress and attainment.
- Differentiate teaching to meet diverse learning needs.
- Uphold safeguarding and school policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with staff and pupils.

Who Can Apply to be a KS2 Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching within KS2.
- Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding.
- A flexible and committed attitude.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
