Graduate Secondary Teaching Assistant Based in Redbridge 32.5 hours per week LBR Scale 3, Scale Point 5-6 £29,436 - £29,856 FTE per annum (dependent on experience) Start Date: ASAP
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a successful and inclusive secondary school within a well established Multi Academy Trust for a dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate Secondary Teaching Assistant.
This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate who is passionate about education and supporting young people to achieve their full potential within a supportive learning environment. The role would particularly suit individuals considering a future career in teaching or education.
The successful applicant will:
- Have experience and/or qualifications in supporting children with English as an Additional Language (EAL) or special educational needs (desirable but not essential)
- Be able to support students both in mainstream classroom settings and through small group interventions
- Demonstrate a friendly, approachable, and professional manner
- Work effectively using their own initiative
- Show strong behaviour management and communication skills
