SEN Teaching Assistant (full-time, temporary)

£463 - £500 per week PAYE (salary is dependent on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role
This is a highly rewarding, hands on role where your dedication and skills will directly impact pupils' growth, confidence, and well being. You'll work alongside a passionate, experienced team in modern, purpose built facilities based in Wigan, that provide the ideal environment for SEN professionals to grow and make a positive impact to the lives of children with SEND.
This is a term time only role with strong potential to become permanent following a successful qualifying period, alongside access to ongoing training and professional development. This role is ideal for candidates seeking meaningful SEN experience and long term opportunities within special education.
Requirements (Please Apply Only If You Meet the Below)
To be considered for this SEN Teaching Assistant role, you will:
- Have previous experience supporting children or young people or vulnerable adults
- Have a genuine passion for supporting pupils with SEN, including Autism, learning disabilities, sensory impairments or complex needs
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills with pupils, staff and families
- Show emotional resilience and adaptability, remaining patient and positive in a fast paced, sometimes challenging environment
- Be reliable, proactive and committed to making a positive impact in a specialist education setting.
