The Local Academy Committee of St Giles CE Primary School are looking to appoint a highly motivated, committed and inspirational Class Teacher with the ability to secure strong progress and attainment for all pupils to join our fabulous, enthusiastic team in September 2026. St Giles is part of the Derby Diocesan Academy Trust (DDAT). This offers many opportunities to collaborate with other schools and very high quality support from DDAT in all areas. Our school is a very caring, welcoming place with high academic standards, good behaviour from children and supportive parents. The person appointed will have high expectations of learners and be an excellent classroom practitioner with the ability to work as a team member. You will be able to demonstrate secure knowledge and understanding of the curriculum and be committed to your own professional development, which will be strongly supported by the school. We are looking for people with a positive, outgoing, caring and nurturing approach, who are creative and firmly focused on maximising the progress of pupils. The successful applicant will be supportive of our Christian ethos.
