We are working with a welcoming secondary school in Luton seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Music to join their thriving department. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious teacher to inspire students through creative and engaging lessons while developing musical skills and confidence across KS3-KS4.
Role Overview
- Teach Music across KS3-KS4 (KS5 desirable)
- Plan and deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons
- Support students in developing musical performance, composition, and listening skills
- Monitor student progress and implement strategies to raise achievement
- Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental initiatives
- Encourage participation in extracurricular music activities and performances
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Music at secondary level
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Passionate about high-quality teaching and student achievement
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
