Summary
We are looking to appoint two enthusiastic, committed and talented Higher Level Teaching Assistants to join our team from September 2026 on fixed term contracts until 31 July 2027.
These roles will primarily provide PPA cover across the whole school. We are looking for confident, adaptable professionals who can inspire children, build positive relationships and bring energy and creativity into every classroom they enter.

The post is not for someone looking for an "ordinary" school environment. Flakefleet is a fast paced, innovative and nurturing school where no two days are ever the same. The posts are fixed term due to current staffing and budget considerations for the 2026-27 academic year. There may be potential for extension subject to future staffing and budget requirements.

Essential Qualifications
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, CACHE or NCFE support staff qualifications
Desirable Qualifications
- NVQ level 4 qualification or equivalent
- HLTA status
- First aid/Paediatric First Aid certificate
